Terms of Use

Welcome to SportTimes. By downloading, installing, or using the SportTimes mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration

To access most features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Create fake accounts or impersonate another person.
• Post offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
• Create fake matches or tournaments with no intention of playing.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers.
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the App (profile photos, match descriptions, community descriptions). By posting content, you grant SportTimes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

5. Communities and Matches

Community administrators are responsible for managing their communities, including approving members and moderating content. Match organizers are responsible for the accuracy of match details (time, location, format). SportTimes is not responsible for matches that do not take place, no-shows, or disputes between users.

6. Player Ratings and Feedback

Users may leave feedback and ratings for other players. Feedback must be honest and fair. SportTimes reserves the right to remove feedback that is abusive, false, or violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by SportTimes and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings page.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. SportTimes is a coordination platform and is not responsible for the physical safety of users during sporting activities.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportTimes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries sustained during sporting activities organized through the App.

11. Physical Activity Disclaimer

Participation in sports and physical activities involves inherent risks of injury. By using the App to join or organize matches, you acknowledge these risks and agree that SportTimes is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your participation in any sporting activity.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
